YouTube recently added Tape Mode on some videos to celebrate the birth of VHS with static and screen roll.
This new feature is only available on few videos, mostly on low quality videos and videos by YouTube. There's screen noise, distortion, ocassional screen roll.
YouTube has also captured the pause effect when you hit the pause button.
